HORSE TREKKING

There are two Horse Ranches to choose from—one near Sarigerme Village and another in Marmaris. Pick-up times and availability vary for both Hose Ranches.

Trekking is for anybody, whether you can ride or not. You are matched to a horse, and off you go. The horses are calm and should follow the one in front; they know when to walk and trot.

If you are an experienced rider or a beginner and wish to ride along Sarigerme Beach, we have something for you.

Especially during the hot summer, the idea is to do the horse riding well before it gets too hot, before the afternoon, or later when the weather cools down.

Depending on where you are staying and which horse ranch you wish to visit, you will be picked up from your Hotel and depart for the Ranch. There, you will be introduced to Horses, followed by a short briefing. The Horse masters will be with you, assisting you all the way.

Horse Ranch in Marmaris: When in Marmaris, you will join other riders from the nearby area and go to the Horse Stables. After an hour and fifteen minutes of easy rides, you will visit Marmaris City Centre, a lovely opportunity to shop and see Marmaris Town.

Sarigerme Horse Ranch is an ideal place to start exploring the surrounding area on horseback. This Ranch provides the option to ride on the Beach on Beautiful Arab Horses and trek on the County Side.

IMPORTANT
We pause all horse riding activities during the peak summer heat — from July until mid-September — because we don’t think it’s fair or safe for the horses.

Heat stress is a real risk for them when high temperatures and humidity combine, as they often do in Dalaman and Marmaris. That’s why we strictly require all the horse farms we work with to follow this policy — no exceptions.

Animal welfare comes first. Always.
